Galentines Day

Galentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays.

For those unfamiliar, the holiday became popular back in 2010 when Leslie Knope of Parks & Rec explained to us all that February 13 is the perfect occasion to remind your friends how fabulous & loved they are. Now, I, nor Leslie, truly believe an “occasion” is required to share with our galentines how magical they are, but it is a fun annual tradition to start should you feel you need an excuse to shower them in love & pull together a cheesy gathering.

Last year’s Galentine’s Day was for many of us around the last time we had a proper gathering with our friends, in person, inside, unmasked & blissfully unaware of the dangers of sharing cocktails from the same glass.

This year I plan to celebrate my brilliant, kind galentines virtually. Here are a few ways you can safely let your tribe know how much you appreciate them.
